Medical assistants are considered as one of the most important members of the health care team in hospitals, clinics and other health institutions. Medical assistants should also learn how to communicate effectively to their patients and knows how to make them comfortable. The average Medical assistant salary depends on a lot of factors. The salary is higher in some areas where cost of living is also higher. Te said difference is not only seen from one state to another but also from one city within the same state to another. Next factor is the kind of employer where one is working. Salaries in clinics are lower than those who are working in hospitals. Level of education is also another factor that can affect the salary. Those who have training will receive a lower rate compared to those having an associate degree.
